Welcome to Jennie Fynn, where vibrant colour and pattern meets everyday functionality!

My colourful patterned tote bags, makeup bags and printed fabrics are for people like me, who want to express their individuality and personality and add feel good pops of colour and joy to their lifestyle and home.

Based on the Hampshire/Surrey border, all of my patterns start out as hand-painted designs before being printed in the UK onto fabrics using environmentally friendly inks and eco-friendly methods.

I’m on a mission to brighten your day with bags and fabrics that are as unique as you are. I believe in:

My Story

Jennie Fynn was founded in 2023 born from my passion for colourful bold patterns and artwork and my love of fabrics.

Brought up to believe that I had to have a ‘sensible, professional’ job, I pursued a career as a pharmacist but my childhood love of painting and crafting never went away. Even after completing a Higher National Diploma in Textiles, my dream to have a more creative career remained in the background until in 2020 when the pandemic hit, I found myself drawn back to painting to switch off from the stress and intensity of my day job. I found that painting bold colours and patterns was very therapeutic and uplifting and had a positive effect on my mood. I then started to sell some of my paintings and cushions with my designs on and received lots of positive feedback.

In December 2023, I participated in series 2 of BBC One’s ‘Make It At Market’, which partners creative entrepreneurs with business and craft experts to turn their passion into a successful business. From that experience I noticed a gap in the market for high-quality, colourful, eye-catching tote bags, cosmetic bags and homewares that were made in the UK. Thus my colourful business journey began!!

Every product in my collection is thoughtfully designed, printed and made right here in the United Kingdom. I work closely with small skilled UK fabric printers and manufacturers to produce high quality fabrics, tote bags, makeup bags and homewares. By producing locally, I also reduce transportation emissions and support the UK economy.

Sustainability

I’m committed to reducing the environmental impact of my business. My production processes prioritise eco-friendly materials and minimise waste where possible.

My fabrics are digitally printed in the UK using eco-friendly pigment inks and methods which use considerably less water than other printing methods.

My base fabrics are sourced from manufacturers and distributors in the UK however due to the decline of the woven textile industry in the UK, it is not always possible to use UK woven fabrics. However the digital printers that I use ensure that they source their fabrics from ethical, sustainable mills abroad.

To reduce fabric wastage, the pattern placement on each tote bag, cosmetic bag and cushion may be different, but this means that no two products are the same and therefore unique!

Making my products in the UK means that transportation emissions are reduced.

Where possible I use recyclable packaging and labels and all my products are posted to customers in tissue paper and boxes made from recycled paper.
