Colour Trends in 2025-Get Ready For A Splash Of Colour

Pantone Colour of the Year Mocha Mousse

This year's Pantone Colour of the Year is a warm soft brown that is comforting with its qualities of chocolate and coffee. Think of it as a hug in colour form. Whilst I love coffee and chocolate, I personally couldn't live with this colour in my home or wear it. But I can see it as a base colour for tote bags and accessories together with brighter motifs to keep things fresh and fun.

Mahogany. This rich red-brown shade feels cosy and has a touch of understated glamour. Even dark brown furniture is making a comeback! I have used mahogany as the base colour in my latest fabric collection Sakura. I have paired it with a bold silhouette floral design in dusky pink, gold orange and cherry red. You can find this print on my hot water bottles and new tote bag collection.

Yellow. Dulux's Colour of 2025 is 'True Joy' (what a lovely name), an uplifting yellow that fills your home with creative energy, optimism and pride! Who doesn't want some of that in their life? It's an uplifting colour and perfect for makeup bags and cushions to add a bit of everyday happiness.

Crimson. I love red and this is one of my favourite colours. This is bold sultry and full of energy. It can be fiery red or a rich burgundy. It’s earthy but vibrant, making it a great option for bold patterns and standout accessories. Expect to see it popping up in my fabric designs, bringing that extra "wow' factor to my homewares and tote bags.

Dusty Pink. I couldn't resist including this one. Pink is still going strong. This pink is elegant, calming and never goes out of style. Its close relative coral is also on trend. Last year I brought out my collection of makeup bags featuring a soft dusty pink and raspberry fun floral pattern; Kyoto Pink. The collection consists of a small makeup bag, spacious large makeup bag with a useful wide opening and a practical roomy large toiletry bag in waterproof fabric. Look out for my new beach bag and limited edition tableware featuring new pink patterns.

Mint Green. This is a fresh and breezy green and goes beautifully with both neutrals and bright colours making it a versatile choice for interiors. Green is also a complimentary colour of pink and therefore makes a timeless colour combination for soft furnishings such as curtains, blinds, cushions and lampshades.

Bold Prints For 2025

70's Revival. Think paisleys, psychedelic swirls and retro geometric shapes in mustard yellow and purple. Whilst these patterns are not my style, they are fun and if you're a lover of vintage, will add personality to your home and wardrobe.

Bold Natured Inspired Prints. I'm excited to see that these are still on trend in 2025. Plant motifs in lush greens, brights blues and pinks will continue to be popular especially in fashion.

Pine Crest Fabrics

You can buy this trend in my signature Midsummer collection that includes my cross body tote bag, beach bag, large tote bag and small tote bag plus matching makeup bags. And if you want to add a bold statement in your home, it's available in stunning upholstery fabric for soft furnishings.

Artsy Abstracts. Colourful and free, this is one of my favourite trends because all my prints start out hand painted. Think painterly brushstrokes and expressive free flowing patterns. This trend is all about embracing creativity and imperfection and is my style, so you'll continue to see it in my fabrics and accessories.

Stripes and Checks. These are having a moment but with a fresh new look. Think oversized, colourful and a little bit playful. My designs have always been botanical and nature inspired but I'm thinking about creating new prints of loose stripes seen in nature as a nice compliment to my floral prints. I'd like to work these into a tableware collection and maybe a tote bag print for a classical look

So whether you're into a warm brown, groovy geometrics, bold florals or artsy abstracts, or still can't get enough of pink, there's a 2025 colour and print trend for you.
